Cassie Love Essential Body Movements

About Cassie Love

For years, I believed I was doing everything right.

I exercised, practiced yoga, studied anatomy, and dedicated my life to understanding movement. Yet I kept seeing the same question—in my own body and in the people I taught.

Why were so many people doing all the “right” things and still struggling with pain, stiffness, and declining function?

That question changed the direction of my work.

Instead of asking how to exercise more, I became interested in what the body actually requires to maintain itself over time.

That search led me beyond fitness and into anatomy, biomechanics, restorative exercise, physiology, neuroscience, and the everyday movement conditions that shape how the body adapts throughout life.

Today, I help people connect pieces that are often taught separately. My work explores how movement influences circulation, joint health, nervous system function, and mechanical load—not as isolated topics, but as parts of one living system.

I believe understanding the body should feel clear, practical, and empowering. My goal isn’t to replace what people already know. It’s to help connect some of the pieces.

About This Work

The Body Remembers Health and the Essential Movement body of work grew from one simple observation:

Modern life has reduced many of the ordinary movement experiences the human body evolved expecting. And because they look so ordinary, we have a hard time recognizing their importance.

This work explores what happens when those biological inputs become inconsistent, why the body adapts the way it does, and how small, repeatable changes can help restore long-term function.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, it invites a broader question:

What conditions does the body need in order to maintain itself well over time?

My hope is that these ideas help people make more sense of their bodies—and feel more confident caring for them throughout life.
