About Cassie Love

Cassie Love is the originator of Essential Movements, a biology‑first educational framework that explains how the human body maintains joint health, resilience, and coordination over time.

Her work is grounded in biomechanics and human movement science, with a focus on restoring movement access that modern life gradually removes — even in people who exercise regularly. Cassie’s approach emphasizes long‑term joint access, circulation, and sustainable movement rather than performance or aesthetics.

Cassie has an Honours BA from the University of Ottawa and more than a decade of professional teaching experience in yoga and movement education. She is a former lead yoga teacher trainer and has completed extensive post‑graduate study in restorative exercise and biomechanics.

After years of personal injury and disillusionment with conventional exercise models, Cassie devoted her work to understanding what movements the body actually requires to stay healthy across the lifespan. That inquiry led to the development of Essential Movements as a distinct educational framework.

Today, Cassie teaches internationally and writes on movement, joint health, and biological resilience. Her work integrates seamlessly into yoga, strength training, walking, and daily life, and is relevant at any age.

Cassie values clarity, integrity, and independence of thought. She is selective about how and where her work is taught to protect its accuracy and intent.
